ABC’s Shark Tank Features Veterinarian’s Product which Claims to Prevent Cancer in Pets
October 8, 2009
ABC’s business reality show Shark Tank featured a veterinarian who has a product that he claims prevents cancer in pets. The vet’s name is Dr. R. Geoffrey Broderick and his company is Cornucopia Express.
The sharks are interested in the concept, but in the end do not invest because they say that the vet doesn’t have scientific proof to back up his claims. That is interesting to us for a couple of reasons:
1. This validates that what Functional Nutriments is doing in terms of helping dogs with cancer is noteworthy.
2. It legitimates the business opportunity in that the sharks on Shark Tank see this as a worthwhile venture to invest in. (If you have seen the show, you already know that Kevin O’Leary is the sharkiest of any of the sharks on the program and he seems to be the most interested in the company.)
Functional Nutriments is raising capital to bring our dog nutraceutical to market. It is called Apocaps™ and was invented by Dr. Demian Dressler, DVM, a world-reknown dog cancer veterinarian and author. Our nutraceutical has already undergone clinical studies and test marketing. The results are stellar. (We wish that we would have known about Shark Tank when they were casting last August. The sharks would have liked our science.)
We are currently finishing out our A-round and qualified accredited investors may contact us directly to learn more about owning a piece of the company.
To discover more about Apocaps™ and what makes this such a ground-breaking nutraceutical, please read this article on Apocaps™ and Apoptosis.
Read more about canine cancer at DogCancerBlog.com which is written by Dr. Dressler and is the first site dog lovers turn to when they get the diagnosis that their dog has cancer.
Attention Dog Owners: Apocaps™ is not yet available to the general public. We sold out of our pilot batch. Please join our priority waiting list and we will notify you as soon as Apocaps are available. Join the waiting list at Apocaps.com

I am interested in this product as I just lost my 10 yr. old Pit Bull Terrier to cancer. It was horrible to watch my pet suffer and then we had to put her to sleep in the end. I now how two Mini-Schnauzers and would like to know if this product will guarantee a longer life and that my current pets/ family members will live a longer life?
